Ti-flo™ 950 filler metal will wet titanium, titanium-based alloys and super alloys. It exhibits good wetting characteristics on ceramic surfaces eliminating the need for metalisation and plating processes. Because of its high titanium content it is very strong and has good corrosion resistance. Typical applications include brazing of vacuum tubes, wave-guides and titanium-based rocket and engine components in the aerospace industry. Ti-flo™ 950 should be brazed in a high vacuum environment. Other filler metals suitable for brazing titanium alloys include Pallabraze™ 880Ga, Active-braze™ No.1, Active-Braze™ No.2, silver and standard silver.
